4th day on Keto?!

So if you read my last post you know that i started the keto diet 2 days prior. so 4 days ago. Well heres my update :) Even thou i said i'd be back in a week to give one.
  • So the first day was a little hard, i kept over thinking stuff so it made it harder for me to figure out what to eat and well since i cant have sugar and pasta that made it even harder because of course i wanted something sweet lol.
  • Second day was a little easier because i shopped after work and actually got keto friendly stuff. [cheese snacks, pickles, olives, ranch, shredded cheese, eggs, pepperonis, chicken, meatballs, shrimp, and bacon] so with that it was alot easier.
  • third day [the day i wrote that post] i had a hudge headache and just felt drowsy really big time. I googled it and apparently you go through something called 'the keto flu' where you literally feel like you have the flu. and theres nothing you can do about it except to push on and add veggies to your diet, i tripled my greens [itworks] and it took the feeling away in like 20 mins. i was lucky.
  • Today i feel wonderful ! I have a headache but nothing major. 
Have i lost any weight yet?
Surprisingly YES!! i woke up yesterday morning at 297.6 lbs. Thats 3 lbs aways from my heaviest weight. This morning i woke up at 293.2 So i lost right at 4 pounds overnight.
Was i believer in this diet?
When i first started this or thought about doing it, it was after i watched a facebook friend of mine go though it for a year. She has lost 89 lbs in a year. That right there is amazing to me! Shes been able to keep it off and she is a diabetic and its helped that tremendously. So was I believer in it? Well honestly NO i was not. I wanted to try it when i seen her progress on it, but when i googled it and researched the diet myself i immediately thought 'there is no way this is going to help me loose weight'. Theres just so much fat and oil and meat that you eat and you really cant eat any veggies unless its uncooked because the ones in the can is really high in Carbs. And youre not suppost to eat any fruits at all besides maybe rasperries, strawberries, and blueberries. every thing else is extremely high in sugar.
So thats my thing about this 'DIET' its not really a diet its a "Lifestyle" instead. And im hoping that i will beable to continue this lifestyle til i atleast get down to 200 lbs.
But i believe ive been doing great with it. But i wanted to update my progress on this lifestyle change. I'll be back on Monday for an official update:)
